I made this fake newspaper page to show the exaggerated sides of what I think the world could look like in fifty years. I don't think there's going to be some world ending apocalypse or complete world peace and happiness, but rather I think that things are only going to be slightly better or worse than they are now, except with better technology. There's still going to be wars, corruption, natural resource crises etc., but I imagine advancing technology will begin to make these things fewer and far between. That said, I wrote this newspaper to be about exaggerated events of issues that might pop up in the future. Another world war, concentration camps, oil crisis, and on the positive side, online voting and a well liked government. New technology could lead to cool new medical things like reverse aging or gene manipulation, and government could become less restrictive and loosen it's grip on certain issues. Overall, I don't see the near future being very different from today on a superficial level. There will still be a divide between the rich and the poor, money will still be the determining factor in everyone's livelihood, and some people will still be looking for bigfoot.
